Our Story
Looking at Parc Y Bocs today, it's hard to believe that our sprawling farm shop, cafe and play area started off as a humble honesty box selling eggs. In 2007, Burns Pet Nutrition run by Veterinary Surgeon, John Burns, purchased a smallholding in Kidwelly known as Parc Y Bocs. Over time, alpacas take residence, locals pop in for tea and coffee, a play area is built! Before we know it, we've created a social community hub in the heart of Kidwelly. We are now an award-winning farm shop, cafe and family friendly destination in the heart of Carmarthenshire.
Eat & Drink
At our farm shop cafe and restaurant get your caffeine fix, enjoy a hearty main meal or sample a sweet treat. When visiting our Farm Shop you can stock up your cupboards with seasonal vegetables from our market gardens or browse a fantastic selection of home and lifestyle products. Our Burns Pet Food range in our shop means you can treat your furry friend with tail-waggingly tasty, healthy pet food developed by Veterinary Surgeon, John Burns. As well as this while you are here to eat and drink you can pop to our Pet Wellness Clinic or have a walk to meet our goats, feed the chickens and wander round our kitchen gardens where we grow seasonal fruit and veggies.
